Bradley White update December 2005-12-05
Bradley is now 3 years old.
Bradley has been in hospital as he has been unwell vomiting for no reason very low oxygen levels and just not himself. After a week in hospital on oxygen he was doing much better.
Dr. Brian Edis flew over for him 6 monthly check-up, he had his ECG, echo, an x-ray and blood tests. All were A1 which we couldn’t be happier with. Dr Edis said he won’t be needing to go back to Melbourne for his fontan till Bradley is either 5 or 6 which is also great news.
Bradley has been going to Day care one day a week which he loves. We have also caught up with the Ovari’s went along to Joes birthday party which we spent half of the day keeping Bradley away from everyone’s food. Needless to say Bradley is still over weight.
Bradley has now turned 19 months he has had his 18 months development check up and all is going well his height and weight are both good he's 13.7kg he doesn't need to loose anymore weight which is good so he is off his diet.
The medication Bradley is on now is aspirin and he is still on his lisinopril which Dr. Fong said he could come off but as he is doing so well he doesn't want to change anything that little bit of extra strain off his heart wont hurt so he is going to stay on that for now.
Bradley's next check up with be on the 3rd of May with Dr. Brian Edis when he flies over from the Children's Hospital.
